Well, the day I have dreaded for so long has finally arrived... Dylan has come down with an acute case of PKS. For those not "in the know" PKS is Photographer Kid Syndrome. What this means is that my smiling, impish, fun-loving little boy now refuses to look at me if the "black box of torture" (aka my Nikon D300) is anywhere in the vicinity. And no amount of calling his name, yelling "uh-oh," singing the "Itsy Bitsy Spider," making silly noises, or other previously successful (albeit embarassing) tricks will entice him to glance my way - let alone smile. So this Saturday I decided to try something different. I took Dylan to the park and took non-smiling, no-eye-contact pictures. I've only processed one so far. What do you think?
WELCOME TO MY BLOG
Come on in. Kick back. Relax. Stay a while.
This blog is dedicated to my adventure in photography. You'll see bits of my adopted hometown, New Orleans, as well as plenty of pictures of my sons, Dylan and Logan, and, of course, the children and families that allow me to capture the special moments in their lives.
I'll be updating the blog frequently, so add me to your blog reader. And if you have a blog yourself, I'd love to be added to your blog roll. Lastly I love comments so if you've particularly enjoyed a post or a photo please let me know!
