Sneak Peek: G Family [Metairie Family Photographer]

I'm running just a teeeeensy bit behind on this sneak peek, but hopefully it's worth the wait. I got to meet with the G family last week as they prepare to expand their family once again. With three lively kids, there's plenty of love and excitement to go around in this household. It will be one lucky little girl joining this family.

I recently got the chance to spend an afternoon with Jay and Evie to capture some fun individual portraits, as well as the elusive sibling shot. Sibling shots are never easy... at least if the siblings are under the age of 18! ;) But with a little perseverance and some bribery I think we got there.

Last weekend I got to spend the afternoon with this adorable and energetic foursome: Oliver, Matia, Luka and Asija. Phew! I was exhausted by the end of the session and I think they were too!

I love to see close, loving siblings and these three certainly fit the bill. Big brothers Matthew and Tyler were expert caterpiller hunters for our day in the park, yet still so sweet to their little sister Kelly. (Maybe there is still hope for my two! ;))

Sneak Peek: Davis [New Orleans Child Photographer]

I had the pleasure of meeting Davis on Good Friday while his parents were in town for the Crescent City Classic. We had a blast exploring the park. And while getting pictures taken isn't top on the list of fun things to do for a 5 year old (at least any 5 year old I've met so far!) we still managed to get some great shots. The key? Just talk about Legos of course. ;)

Sneak Peek: Cousins [Jefferson Child Photographer]

Last weekend I had the chance to meet up with four young cousins. One of them, Miss Genevieve, was a newborn client of mine ten months ago. Wow, has she grown! It's so, so fun to see the little people that my newborn clients become. The P family has been patiently waiting for their peek, so without further ado, here it is. :)

And all the cousins together. Have I ever mentioned how hard it is to get four little kids to all sit AND look AND smile at the same time??? This shot didn't hit all of the objectives, but man are they cute!

Sneak Peek: Sullivan and Harrison [New Orleans Child Photographer]

As a mom with two boys with Irish names, can I just say how much I love these two brothers' names? Sullivan and Harrison met me out at the park (with mom and dad of course!) on one of the few very cold days we get around here. The boys were troopers though and we got some really cute shots. Camille and her parents were brave enough to meet me in the park on one of the chilliest days around here so far. We ventured far and wide to find some good (and warm!) spots for photos and ultimately were successful. C & P - I hope you enjoy the sneak peek!

I'll be honest with y'all - wrangling three small kids together for a photo ain't easy. But when they're this cute, I'd say the effort is worth it, wouldn't you? Mom is expecting #4 this spring, so I'm looking forward to an even greater adventure next year!

Sneak Peek: K's Maternity Session

Okay, so my sneak peeks are getting later and later... but at least they're not "post" peeks yet, right? Anyway, I had the opportunity to photograph K's adorable son Philip a year and a half ago when I was portfolio building and mentoring under the fab Lyndsay of Life in Motion Photography. Well now Philip is going to be a big brother so I had the pleasure of not only photographing him again, but also doing maternity portraits for his mom.

(I'll warn you now, she's skinny and beautiful so don't hate her too much, okay? ;))
