This blog is dedicated to my adventure in photography. You'll see bits of my adopted hometown, New Orleans, as well as plenty of pictures of my sons, Dylan and Logan, and, of course, the children and families that allow me to capture the special moments in their lives.
I'll be updating the blog frequently, so add me to your blog reader. And if you have a blog yourself, I'd love to be added to your blog roll. Lastly I love comments so if you've particularly enjoyed a post or a photo please let me know!

Sneak Peek: Anna Grace
I've been a bad, bad blogger. And Anna Grace's mommy has been a patient, patient client. :) But finally, here is miss Anna Grace in all her girly wonderfulness. I hope the pictures are worth the wait!
Amy, they absoltely were worth the wait! I'm sure it took you longer than usual because of her surly attitude (only smiling when running AWAY from the camera), and it was probably a lot more difficult to find a little angel in the midst of all of those studious frowns! But your preview pics give me hope, lol! thanks so much! Anna Grace's mommy!
9/13/09: Fall sessions are booking up quickly. If you are interested in booking a session for Septembr through December 2009, please email me as soon as possible at amy@amydrouetphotography.com. Please note that sessions must be completed by November 15 for holiday delivery.
Such a simple question. But the answer, of course, is not so simple. The truth is, I’m many things to many different people. A wife to my husband, Kevin. A mother to my beautiful sons, Dylan and Logan. And a photographer - and friend - to my clients, both big and little.
Throughout this blog you’ll see snippets of my life, photographs of my children, and images of the extraordinary people that have entrusted me to capture and preserve their memories. I’ve been privileged to take part in their lives and watch their families grow. I hope you'll consider letting me add your children and your family to this special group.
