HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
WELCOME TO MY BLOG
Come on in. Kick back. Relax. Stay a while.
This blog is dedicated to my adventure in photography. You'll see bits of my adopted hometown, New Orleans, as well as plenty of pictures of my sons, Dylan and Logan, and, of course, the children and families that allow me to capture the special moments in their lives.
I'll be updating the blog frequently, so add me to your blog reader. And if you have a blog yourself, I'd love to be added to your blog roll. Lastly I love comments so if you've particularly enjoyed a post or a photo please let me know!

Sneak Peek: Baby Juliet
Little Juliet was still fresh to the world when we did her newborn session a couple of weeks ago. Perfect timing! You can just tell that mom and dad are enthralled with their new arrival. And Juliet was just as sweet as could be.
Mom wore this scarf in her maternity session (here). We thought it would be fun to recreate some of the maternity shots with Juliet now in them.
She must be having some sweet, milk-filled dreams.

Doesn't she look wide-eyed and ready to meet the world?
Sorry your sneak peek is late, R&T, but I hope you enjoy it. I'm just about done with your session so be on the lookout for your full gallery in the next day or so.

Holiday Cards!
If you missed my holiday mini-sessions, that doesn't mean you have to miss out on all the fun. I have lots of cute holiday card designs this year and you can use a photo from any 2008 session with me to make yours. These designs are especially gorgeous and impressive press printed on heavy quality cardstock. Here are just a few design examples:

When Photographers Get Together...
Lots of photos are sure to follow! I recently had the opportunity to meet several other local photographers for a morning of fun, photography, and getting to know one another. We had lots of models (aka our kids) and some very cool urban locations to play with. Here are a few of the results.

Just stay little...
I know it won't surprise any mom or dad to hear me say this... but kids grow up way too fast. It's amazing to me how quickly the first year goes by. They start out so small, sleepy, and sweet. Their cries sound more like a cat's meow than a baby. But before you know it, they're alert. Watching the world go by with curious eyes. They fill out. In Logan's case A LOT, lol. They start growing hair and holding their head up. That's where Logan is now. Four months have gone by so fast. And I know from experience that in no time he'll be sitting, crawling, and walking. I revel in seeing these developments, yet mourn the end of each stage, knowing that he'll never be this small and needy again. So I think Logan and I are going to strike a deal. No more. No bigger. He's gonna just stay little.

Sneak Peek: Mississippi Saturday
I have a wonderful group of clients in Mississippi and a few times a year I get a request to make a trip out there and do a few sessions. There's always some friendly familiar faces and sometimes some new faces too. This past Saturday was one of my Mississippi days and I've decided that they must make the cutest kids around in Mississippi. Just look at these faces...
