This blog is dedicated to my adventure in photography. You'll see bits of my adopted hometown, New Orleans, as well as plenty of pictures of my sons, Dylan and Logan, and, of course, the children and families that allow me to capture the special moments in their lives.
I'll be updating the blog frequently, so add me to your blog reader. And if you have a blog yourself, I'd love to be added to your blog roll. Lastly I love comments so if you've particularly enjoyed a post or a photo please let me know!
This weekend I had my very last newborn session before my own newborn arrives sometime around the end of May. It's very bittersweet. I'm going to miss being surrounded by beautiful babies for the next several weeks, but I'm so excited to meet and photograph Baby Drouet: The Sequel.
But enough about me... I'm sure you'd rather meet Miss Ainsley. Isn't she precious?
I love the pout :)
And for those that have asked, the adorable hat is from the talented Kim K. at From My Heart to Your Head. I love it!
Sunday afternoon I got to meet again with an old friend... little Miss Raegan. I can't believe she's one already! I first took pictures of Raegan when she was just four months old. This was our fourth session together and even with an ear infection, Raegan was her usual sweet, happy self.
And just for some flashback fun, these pictures were from Raegan's first session. My how time flies!
9/13/09: Fall sessions are booking up quickly. If you are interested in booking a session for Septembr through December 2009, please email me as soon as possible at amy@amydrouetphotography.com. Please note that sessions must be completed by November 15 for holiday delivery.
Such a simple question. But the answer, of course, is not so simple. The truth is, I’m many things to many different people. A wife to my husband, Kevin. A mother to my beautiful sons, Dylan and Logan. And a photographer - and friend - to my clients, both big and little.
Throughout this blog you’ll see snippets of my life, photographs of my children, and images of the extraordinary people that have entrusted me to capture and preserve their memories. I’ve been privileged to take part in their lives and watch their families grow. I hope you'll consider letting me add your children and your family to this special group.
